1. What is a vehicle-mounted remote monitoring system?

The vehicle-mounted video monitoring system usually refers to an emerging system that has developed with the application of digital audio and video coding technology in vehicles. The system includes a vehicle monitoring system composed of vehicle-mounted terminals, network transmission and monitoring platforms, providing real-time transmission of video images inside and outside the vehicle, real-time positioning of vehicle positions, dispute evidence collection, irregular driving and other status monitoring functions to solve the current dynamic management problems of vehicles.

2. What are the functions of the vehicle-mounted remote monitoring system?

The main functions of the vehicle-mounted remote monitoring system include remote image transmission, video recording, storage, downloading, playback, fuel volume, temperature, vehicle speed, driver status and other monitoring, voice intercom, alarm linkage, GPS positioning, vehicle history trajectory playback, equipment remote monitoring, etc.

3. In what areas can the vehicle-mounted remote monitoring system be applied?

It is mainly used in various vehicles, including school buses, buses, taxis, cold chain logistics vehicles, sanitation vehicles, muck trucks, freight trucks, police cars and other vehicles.

4. What products are currently used in the vehicle remote monitoring system?

——On-board MDVR: commonly known as on-board hard disk recorder, supports HDD/SSD/SD card storage and multi-channel video transmission;

——On-board camera: you can choose analog high-definition and network (IPC) cameras, mainly used to collect video data;

——Various sensors: detect different states, such as compartment sealing detection, compartment lifting detection, vehicle real-time oil volume collection, RFID electronic tags, blind spot radar detection and early warning, etc.;

——Monitoring platform: you can view vehicle trajectory, vehicle location, video recording, etc. on the platform, and manage the vehicle through voice intercom and remote command;

——Network transmission: you can choose 3/4G network, WiFi, GPS according to your needs;

5. What functions can be realized by the vehicle remote monitoring system platform?

The vehicle remote monitoring system platform can realize real-time video preview, voice intercom/monitoring, image capture, GPS positioning, video playback, trajectory playback, PTZ control, and vehicle operation management system (please contact us for specific information).

6. How does the vehicle remote monitoring system support alarm linkage and record at the same time?

The alarm linkage can be divided into front-end alarm linkage, client alarm linkage, and platform alarm linkage. The alarm event triggers the front-end alarm device through sound, light, electricity, etc. The alarm output device directly outputs the alarm information at the front end and can also trigger the alarm recording at the front end; the platform supervisor can trigger the platform's alarm linkage after receiving the alarm information: inform the client by sending SMS and customer emails, linking the center recording, etc.; after the client receives the alarm signal, it can be immediately reflected on the client's interface to prompt the customer that an alarm event has occurred.

7. What are the ways to store video images in the vehicle remote monitoring system?

The vehicle remote monitoring system provides three storage methods: front-end, center, and client. The general principles for determining the storage location are as follows:

Front-end storage: that is, storing video recordings in the hard disk or memory card that comes with the MDVR, supporting uploading, copying or downloading videos;

Central storage: that is, video recordings are stored in the hard disk display supported by the recording server of the central platform or the disk display supported by the network storage; if the front-end does not have a storage function, the central storage is generally used, and the central storage can be used as a backup for the front-end storage.

Client storage: The video recordings are stored in the disk of the monitoring machine browsed by the client, generally as temporary video image storage: such as snapshots and manual recordings.

8. What are the characteristics of the video surveillance industry's storage needs?

Video surveillance has the following characteristics for storage needs:

① The demand for storage capacity is relatively elastic. The amount of storage capacity is related to factors such as the requirements for picture quality, the size of the picture, the frame rate of the picture, and the length of storage time. Changes in these factors will cause a large change in storage capacity.

② The storage performance requirements are not high, but it needs to be able to meet long-term continuous data reading and writing, with large data flow and a small number of simultaneous access requests.

③ The data storage period varies in length and can be reused after exceeding the usage time. In general monitoring places, data is stored for a certain period of time (such as 10 days) and can be deleted or overwritten later.
