5G + Security: Opportunities and Challenges Coexist

At present, the intelligent process of the security industry is in full swing. The security industry requires that the network infrastructure related to 5G technology needs to be improved. 5G transmission distance is short, so the number of base stations required for transmission via 5G is much larger than 4G networks. At present, the number of 5G base stations is huge, and the construction is still in the early stages. At this stage, the number of base stations is insufficient to meet the large-scale applications related to security.

At present, 5G is unable to achieve technology maturity and implementation temporarily due to incomplete infrastructure construction. Before the two appear to meet the needs of their respective developments and become mutually integrated, security practitioners need to watch their changes, sharpen themselves, and be ready to embrace the changes.

On the micro level, 5G will give today's smart front-ends more rapid response capabilities. The video surveillance system, burglar alarm system, intelligent Access Control System, and perimeter alarm system in the security industry will benefit from the high-speed and low-latency characteristics of 5G technology to obtain better response speed, and push the physical defense level and effect to New height.
